Fabulous meal with quality service. Luca, our server was fantastic, personable and accommodating, and so was every server and staff member we interacted with. Ordered the fennel salad, escargot, mussels (not pictured), octopus. mushroom truffle flatbread, mushroom gnocchi, braised short rib cavatelli and the bronzino. We loved everything--cavatelli, escargot and mussels were our faves. Had no room for dessert unfortunately. Loved the vibe of the restaurant and corner of Havemeyer. And reservations were easy to make. Highly recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Recette for my homie girls bday brunch. The restaurant is situated in Williamsburg, which exuded a lively and clean outdoor atmosphere.   The service was cool, We were seated promptly, and the overall vibe of the restaurant was calm. Now, onto the main event--the food! Our dishes were good I wish the portions were bigger though lol. I had the lobster Benedict it was good I enjoyed it though it was kind of cold not sure if it's suppose to be but I enjoyed it, I also had potato's & a house salad with it.   Would I recommend Recette ? Absolutely! It's a fantastic spot for a casual dinner.

I highly recommend this place if you want not only delicious food but also an amazing ambience with a live band. The truffle pasta was phenomenal and the drinks were strong but tasty. Couldn't ask for more. This would be perfect for a date night.

Let's talk about this amazing French restaurant. The ambience is cozy and wonderful. I went on a rainy evening and it felt romantic! The food is Fresh and delicious. I had the Steak Frites and it was tender, flavorful, wonderful. I also recommend their Old Fashioned. It pairs wonderfully. The service is awesome. Everyone was friendly. Highly recommend!

Service here was great! Our server was very kind and accommodating. I also loved that there was live music with jazz tunes playing in the background was a wonder touch. The space is small but cozy. But, we were able to get a same day reservation for the evening on a Friday night. Appetizers: Mushroom flatbread was delicious Octopus seems like it was boiled a bit to long and not charred enough. Branzino was tasty but not deboned well. But the flavors were great. The capers balanced well with the dish. I was told the brussel sprouts were yummy! Cardamom Panna Cotta was SO GOOD! A must try

Came back here and got the croque monsieur, beef tartare and french onion soup. The french onion soup is a definite must get! I shared it because it was a good chunk of cheese on top, and we were both satisfied. Beef tartare was also pretty good. We were seated right away inside with no wait. The host here is so nice and we chatted with him a bit.

Came here for a delicious brunch this past weekend. Ordered the blueberry pancakes and the steak and eggs. Both dishes were excellent and the restaurant had a rather cute layout with the art and various flowers decorating the space!

Listen, this review is going to be quick. I'm walking by, the sign caught my eye and brought me to Recette. It's sooooo hot outside! $5 bucks for anything cold is a welcomed treat. The restaurant looks really nice. The ice cream machine is outside, I ask the waiter to hook a brother up with some of that dessert we all scream for. The cup? It was the size of a small cup you get at the dentist. A Dixie Cup can kick its ass. Honey on the bottom, soft serve vanilla and sea salt sprinkled on top. Was it good? Hell yes
